    You know what's even cooler than this? On the Berkeley campus, there are a few primo parking spaces, right next to a few of the departmental buildings. They say "NL" and are solely reserved for Nobel laureates. In addition to the million clams, you get a kick-ass omnipresent parking spot. For life.

    Ha ha! That's hilarious. T.T. says that most professors he knows that have received the Nobel prize have donated the million dollars (I think it's closer to 1.2 or 1.3 million, now) wholly to charity or one of the schools they attended or have taught at. I think, among academics, it's considered poor form not to do so.
