The researchers and experts working at the Natural Resources Institute Finland wanted to learn to tell people about their own work and to engage in dialogue with key stakeholders.
We designed and executed a two-part social media training programme for the Natural Resources Institute Finland’s researchers and experts, in which they learned to understand and put into practice the possibilities that social media brings in expert work. The researchers and experts praised the practicality of the training and the examples that came from their fields. A Twitter list called “Lukelaiset” was compiled from the institute’s members active on Twitter. The list now has 112 names.
