The researchers and experts working at the Natural Resources Institute Finland wanted to learn to tell people about their work and to engage in dialogue with key stakeholders in social media.
We designed and executed a two-part social media training programme for the researchers and experts of the Natural Resources Institute Finland, in which they learned to understand and put into practice the possibilities that social media offers in expert work. The researchers and experts praised the practicality of the training and the examples used from their fields. A Twitter list called “Lukelaiset” was compiled from the institute’s active Twitter members. The list has now more than 130 names on it.
